Our Mission
Our mission is to create the best web programming community including the most accurate and up-to-date user reviews and ratings of web script, tools and applications and providing user to user help with web programming and related issues.
SuperSourceCode was created to fill the voids in other open source code directories and programming forums. Anyone that is responsible for selecting a open source code has found that there are many open source options to choose from and it is difficult to find concise, consistent information on source code to make an informed decision. It is much easier to find information to buy a car with resources such as Consumer Reports, than it is to find good non-biased information and user reports on open source code.
A problem with other directories is that it is often difficult to find actual users to ask about their experience and to network with other webmaster and web programmers.
How are we different?
We do not allow source code company employees to rate their own or other open source code in the same category as their listings.
We are building a community of open source code users around the open source code directory and ratings.
We hope you will join our community and become another of the community heros by rating the open source code components that you use!
